Northern Illinois Mid-Winter Retreat

All are welcome. For our newer friends - this is a chance to meet up with other educators and get your battery recharged. There is no charge for this - so come and relax.

Gathering time is at 9:30 a.m. Retreat is at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon. We will engage in guided meditation, focusing on God's longing for us and our longing for God. Come in comfy clothes and prepare to relax in God's presence.

Our retreat is being led by Dave Dean, Spiritual Director. Our hostess is Julene Diaz, Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministries. Please check First UMC's website for driving and parking directions.

The Christian Educators Fellowship biennial gathering will be at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, Wisconsin, October 11-16, 2012. The theme for the Conference is “Come and See.” Central scripture passages are John 1:35-39 and Psalm 66:5.
